Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. How many students will be there in your robotics and coding classes?

A. For the Early Years Program there will be a maximum of 5 students per instructor. For all the other group classes, there will be a maximum of 8 students per instructor.

Q2. If my child misses a class during the course, do you provide a make-up or alternate class?

A. 1. You can reschedule up to 2 classes during any one course. Exceptions to this rule will be made if important reasons arise – please communicate this to our staff before the class (see point 2 below).

2. To reschedule a class, we must receive and respond to registrant’s notification at least 4 hours before the start of the class. A missed class for which a timely notification was not received will not be eligible for rescheduling.

3. While all efforts will be made to provide an alternate class in case of a missed class with prior notification, no refunds or credits will be provided for missed classes. The only exception that will be made to this policy is if the student is not allowed to participate in our classes as a result of displaying COVID-19 related symptoms.

Q3. Will it be possible to move to a different day/time slot in the middle of the course?

A. In case of small group classes, if there is a compelling reason for your child to want to move to a different day/time slot, we’ll try to accommodate the request provided there is at least one more cohort running in sync and there is a spot available. However, it cannot be guaranteed upfront.

Q4. What is your cancellation and refund policy?

A. We accept cancellations and provide full refund after deducting an administrative fee of $20, up to 7 days before the start of the program. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start of the program till 7 days after the start, are refunded after a deduction equal to 25% of the total program fee. Cancellations made more than 7 days after the program start date will not be eligible for a refund.

Q5. What happens if the centre is shut down due to COVD-19?

A. If we are forced to shut down our centre due to COVID-19 related restrictions, we will give you the option to continue the classes online or postpone your classes till the centre opens. In the event that you have not selected the online class option and the centre has been closed for over 30 days we will offer a full refund for the unused classes calculated on a pro-rata basis.

Q6. What are your COVID-19 related safety precautions and protocol?

To ensure proper social distancing, we are restricting the maximum number of students that can be present in our 1800 sq.ft facility at any given point in time to 15.

Each child gets their own desk and all desks are placed at least six-feet apart.

All instructors, students and parents entering the facility must wear masks at all times.

Each child works on their dedicated laptop and/or robotics and other kits. No sharing of equipment is allowed between students.

There are 3 hand sanitizer dispensers at the centre in addition to 2 washrooms.

Before each class, the students’ temperature will be taken. Children reporting a high temperature or any other symptoms of COVID-19 will not be allowed to participate in the class.

We kindly ask all parents to conduct screening for COVID-19 symptoms before coming to each class. If the child, his/her parents, or other household members are exhibiting any of the symptoms listed below the child must not attend the class. In such situations please contact us to arrange rescheduling of the class. The child must not attend the class in cases when he/she may have been in close contact with a person suspected of being infected with, or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.

List of symptoms parents/guardians should screen for their children and themselves before coming to the class:
